I presume (as I mentioned in my seconding of the proposal) that Joey means a symlink such as /usr/share/doc/<pkg>/examples/bin -> /usr/lib/<pkg>/examples Nothing else would make sense. (Note that the .../doc/<pkg>/examples may also contain non-compiled material which would not need to be in /usr/lib, so it could be that the link is within the examples directory, as I have illustrated.)
