It is an automated system of sending messages to developers. One message is sent for every bug in the BTS on some kind of periodic schedule. The massage contains the bug report subject line and a short message telling the developer that this bug is still outstanding and needs to be fixed. This information is already delivered to me, in a much more useful form, in the "problems" reports from the BTS every Friday. These additional NAG messages are of no use to anyone, and only serve to increase traffic for folks who are already dealing with large volumes of mail. I consider this type of e-mail to be spam, and as such I feel I have a right to demand that the sender stop such mail. I cc'd my request to policy, as I feel that this should be a policy issue and not left to the whims of one person.
