Hi, Suppose I provide a version of file that does not depend on libc6 (say, lib7 or libc5 or something). If then llintian can still run (when all its known dependencies are OK), then lintian does not deoend on libc6. If it needs libc6 despite oll know dependencies working, then a dependency has to be provided (generally, this means if you compile c code in a package, you need provide the corresponding libc depndency)
