I'm not in principle against moving packages. optional is quite cluttered. But (and please don't take this as an offend) you didn't gave a rational for this. Well, we have a definition of extra, but you did want more than is covered by this definition. But I changed my opinion, extra would be fine for this as long as it is bug free and maintained.
