Exactly, the issue here is whether we should make base-files to depend on awk or not. Somebody told me there was an agreement to do that, and I believed it, so I changed base-files. However, now I'm unable to find the discussion in the archives. Perhaps it took place before December 1996 (when I joined Debian). Does somebody remembers this discussion? [ If not, I will remove awk from the Depends line, of course ]. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.3ia Charset: latin1 iQCVAgUBNN9r0iqK7IlOjMLFAQHaQQP+P5KeSi1xoM463QoyFQHBpsH10xhT5581 FNzcpIYaRjewctLxft3NAusqNlkfyiqeyLQffhmLVXKuRt8P/R3ZbSEchUbXKgM8 RMtg87UVpNGE03RXSYSGUivpSye9Xe8UiCgglKFcQFNDDrSZMBtbuWhaWQhW0Rds CAQbjUV/wqc= =z5Sr -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
