For nm.debian.org, at 2024-12-05:
I would like to apply to change my status in Debian to Debian Developer,
uploading.

Apologies, this section was not filled correctly due to me rushing to open the
application after the required waiting period since my last application was
declined. I wrongly assumed that just opening a new application would be OK
and filling data again was not necessary.

I continue work on a variety of parts of Debian and have also contributed
in new areas that have added to my knowledge and understanding.

1. I continue work on Debian Mentors and I hope to assist regular and new
contributors with their packages. I also wish to encourage more DD involvement
on mentors and contributors to join and make use of relevant teams that can
assist them both now and in the future.

2. I have been contributing to the Debian Astro Team. I maintain 'splash' now
and have been assisting Ole Streicher by fixing issues and picking off some of
the low hanging fruit in many packages. Working within Astro I have learned
much and adapted to the preferred methods of the team. A key example is that
it is preferred that each issue/fix/change is done as a separate commit and
lastly before tagging the 'd/changelog' is committed.

3. Since being declined as a DD I have shown that my effort and commitment to
the Debian project has not lessened and my goals are the same as the Debian
project, deliver a quality product to users.

4. I have tried to work on my communication and continue to do so. I have in
the past been too forthright and disrespectful for which I am sorry and have
learnt from.

I have only have the good of Debian at the core of my contributions and hope
my application is accepted in the good spirit I enter the process with.

Regards

Phil
