I have worked with William Desportes on a bunch of packages like phpmyadmin, php-twig, mariadb-mysql-kbs, et al for over 8 months' time and I would like him to be able to upload their packages on their own.
Not only does William maintains and updates packages for sid, but also for stable-backports and have helped with a bunch of security uploads (for buster, stretch, and even jessie!). During this time, he has shown great skills, he's super fast to respond/reply back whenever need be and is a very, very quick learner. I am very happy to have worked/helped/mentored William all this while and becoming a DM would be a net win for the project.
