Dear Maintainer, Kodi will auto-install 77 (assumedly all) language addons automatically. I am unable to remove them in the kodi addons interface, only disable them. Uninstall is grayed out. If I try to delete them from ~/.kodi, they just auto-install themselves again. I'm only interested in one language addon, en_us and the rest really clutter the addons menu. I can't find a setting anywhere to choose or stop this. Steps to reproduce: 1. Use Debian bookworm 2. apt install kodi (or use gnome/kde installer) 3. open kodi, go to addons, watch it auto-download 77 languages addons. 4. Choose any of them, see that uninstall is greyed out. 5. quit kodi 6. rm -rf ~/.kodi/addons/resource.language.XXX (pick one as an example) 7. start kodi again, watch it re-download the deleted language addon. Expected behavior: Kodi either only installs my default language (en_us for me), or at least allows me to remove the other ones. I believe this is how it behaves in other distros.
