Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
When I am playing a video file and close vlc, there is a 50 % chance the window
closes but the process never gets killed. It makes me unable to open another
video file until I kill the process.
The expected behaviour would be that the process exits on close.
It seems not be reliant on files, because files what trigger this, do not
trigger it always.
Kind regards

To avoid this, be sure to STOP the player with the actual stop GUI button (or
key) before closing. Ultimately, this is a known bug in Mesa, but there is a
workaround already in VLC 3.0.13 and later.
