Package: forked-daapd Version: 26.4+dfsg1-1 Severity: minor
I've figured out why the web UI is disabled by reading the packaging source, changelog entries etc. But I think it would be better for our users if this was explicitly stated somewhere very plain, such as the package long Description: field, or README.Debian, since this is a significant deviation from upstream. Hopefully we can eventually solve the DFSG issues and enable a web UI again! -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.2 APT prefers stable APT policy: (990, 'stable'), (500, 'stable-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-6-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_WARN Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages forked-daapd depends on: ii adduser 3.118 ii avahi-daemon 0.7-4+b1 pn libantlr3c-3.4-0 | libantlr3c-antlrdbg-3.4-0 <none> ii libasound2 1.1.8-1 ii libavahi-client3 0.7-4+b1 ii libavahi-common3 0.7-4+b1 ii libavcodec58 7:4.1.4-1~deb10u1 ii libavfilter7 7:4.1.4-1~deb10u1 ii libavformat58 7:4.1.4-1~deb10u1 ii libavutil56 7:4.1.4-1~deb10u1 ii libc6 2.28-10 pn libconfuse2 <none> ii libcurl3-gnutls 7.64.0-4 ii libevent-2.1-6 2.1.8-stable-4 pn libevent-2.1-7 <none> pn libevent-pthreads-2.1-6 <none> pn libevent-pthreads-2.1-7 <none> ii libgcrypt20 1.8.4-5 ii libgnutls30 3.6.7-4 ii libgpg-error0 1.35-1 ii libjson-c3 0.12.1+ds-2 ii libjson-c4 0.13.1+dfsg-6 pn libmxml1 <none> ii libplist3 2.0.1~git20190104.3f96731-1 ii libprotobuf-c1 1.3.1-1+b1 ii libpulse0 12.2-4+deb10u1 ii libsodium23 1.0.17-1 ii libsqlite3-0 3.27.2-3 ii libswscale5 7:4.1.4-1~deb10u1 ii libunistring2 0.9.10-1 pn libwebsockets15 <none> pn libwebsockets8 <none> ii lsb-base 10.2019051400 ii psmisc 23.2-1 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.11.dfsg-1 Versions of packages forked-daapd recommends: pn libavcodec-extra <none> forked-daapd suggests no packages. -- 👱🏻 Jonathan Dowland ✎ j...@dow.land 🔗 https://jmtd.net
