Package: obs-studio Version: 25.0.8+dfsg1-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation? I remove $HOME/.config/obs-studio, I start OBS and skip the auto-configuration wizard. I add a new Audio Output Capture (PulseAudio) source, click Ok in the "Create/Select source" dialog and click Ok in the "Properties for 'Audio Output Capture (PulseAudio)'" dialog. Please note that the "Device" select box in the latter dialog is empty, but I don't know if that's normal. The new source VU-meter shows up in the mixer, but it doesn't move when I play something in the desktop. Then I click the gear icon next to it and choose "Advanced Audio Properties". I see the audio source listed as active, but the "Audio Monitoring" select box shows "Monitor off". I click it and choose "Monitor Only (mute output)" instead. OBS segfaults as soon as I click that item. The same happens if I choose "Monitor and Output". Now OBS segfaults at startup and I have to remove $HOME/.config/obs-studio again. -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (900, 'stable'), (800, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.6.3-fx (SMP w/8 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=it_IT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=it_IT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=it_IT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages obs-studio depends on: ii libavcodec58 7:4.2.2-1+b1 ii libavformat58 7:4.2.2-1+b1 ii libavutil56 7:4.2.2-1+b1 ii libc6 2.30-8 ii libcurl3-gnutls 7.68.0-1 ii libgcc-s1 10.1.0-3 ii libluajit-5.1-2 2.1.0~beta3+dfsg-5.1 ii libobs0 25.0.8+dfsg1-2 ii libpython3.8 3.8.3-1 ii libqt5core5a 5.12.5+dfsg-10 ii libqt5gui5 5.12.5+dfsg-10 ii libqt5svg5 5.12.5-2 ii libqt5widgets5 5.12.5+dfsg-10 ii libqt5x11extras5 5.12.5-1 ii libqt5xml5 5.12.5+dfsg-10 ii libstdc++6 10.1.0-3 ii obs-plugins 25.0.8+dfsg1-2 ii python3 3.8.2-3 ii python3.8 3.8.3-1 obs-studio recommends no packages. obs-studio suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
