pd-syslog fails to cross build from source, because it strips during make install with the build architecture strip. Beyond breaking cross compilation, doing so breaks DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=nostrip as well as generation of -dbgsym packages. Please consider applying the attached patch to defer all stripping to dh_strip and thus fixing all mentioned issues. Helmut
