thanks for the heads-up! As the one who uploaded the last two 1.x packages, I agree this is the right way to go. However, I have no plans to undergo the API transition myself, so please don't count on me. I currently have a 2 months old baby at home and don't even use the library myself apart from occasionally playing SDL2_mixer-using games.
