Hi! Are there currently any plans for Debian to provide the FFmpeg libraries? Considering these incorporate the (compatible) changes from the libav repository, and generally provide various (many) bugfixes, backwards-compatibility and features not available in the libav libraries (not to mention attempting to keep things compatible between the forks), they would appear to be the obvious choice for use in Debian.
If the libav libraries are still seen as preferrable, is it possible to keep the ffmpeg packet pointing towards ffmpeg, and provide libraries (libavformat etc.) using some pre-/sufffix or some such?
