This is not completely true. Ardour embedded many libraries that could easily be stripped out: they were just convenience copies. AFAIK, libsndfile was the only one that needed to be patched. Indeed, said bug about embedded code copies is already fixed and closed, and ardour has not migrated yet to testing. Why? Because of another Release Critical bug, #458660. So far this bug has been difficult to reproduce, so any help in diagnosing this bug would be appreciated. I think this bug should be fixed now that we don't build the embedded libraries, but need confirmation. Saludos, Felipe Sateler
