Ah, I've read the debian-legal thread. Even if vst was non-free,
dssi-vst can go into contrib (although that will be a bit difficult
since buildd's won't automatically pick up the packages for
rebuilding, which usually means we can't have automatic ppc/amd64/i386
packages).
