Hello! > Are there any experimental packages already available for testing?
Yes. There are. My packages assume that compatibility broke. At least source compatibility broke for sure (around jack_nframes_t). My experience with Ardour prooves that. That should be enough to justify a new package name, even to make it necessary. http://people.debian.org/~jordens/debs/ jack-audio-connection-kit (0.80.0-1) experimental; urgency=low * new upstream release; binary compatibility mostly remains, source compatibility breaks, chose the new soname; upload to experimental * debian/patches/03_cycles-h-other-archs.patch: partially integrated upstream * debian/patches/03_cpuinfo_other_archs.patch: parses cpuinfo on other architectures by Junichi Uekawa; closes: #207435 * debian/control: changed [EMAIL PROTECTED] to [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Robert Jordens <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Tue, 2 Sep 2003 22:18:01 +0200 Please test them with your application. Robert. -- If you haven't enjoyed the material in the last few lectures then a career in chartered accountancy beckons. -- Advice from the lecturer in the middle of the Stochastic Systems course.
