I'm not a DD, so I can't sponsor your package, but I had a look, and here are some notes: d/changelog: -The only point you really need is the "Initial release" line d/copyright: -For the "Source:" field, you accidentally wrote http://http://ori.scs.stanford.edu/ -You forgot to add a license section for the MIT license. d/patches: -Some patches don't have author/last-update information. -You should forward to upstream the patches that they can use. General: -Your chances of finding a sponsor will greatly increase if you use a VCS for the Debian packaging. You can then reference this using the Vcs-Browser/Vcs-Git sections in d/control.
