Nearly all of elementary software (launchpad.net/elementary) uses
CMake and is packaged as debian packages. AFAICT there is no special
handling to make it work correctly, debhelper just DTRT. Look at
launchpad.net/capnet-assist for a small, simple cmake project with
debian packaging.
