Dear mentors, The version of Abiword in Debian crashes for me when I use the format painter button. I submitted this problem to the BTS as bug #766845. Upstream has a fix the development branch, so I've added it as a patch rebuilt the package. With this fix it no longer crashes when using the format painter. I'd like this fix to be available in Debian, and for that I need a sponsor.
My original upload was targeted at unstable, I've since switched to experimental. I was a Debian developer from 1998 until 2010. My account was disabled because I'd stopped checking my Debian e-mail, and didn't responding to messages. The process of creating a Debian package has changed slightly while I've been a way, but I'm confident that I've built Abiword correctly. I would appreciate if somebody could check my package and upload it to the archive.
