You have probably missed the part where Felix said: "I have no problem
building these packages and providing some support, but ideally this
position should be filled by someone actually running a .deb based linux
distribution (he uses Arch linux), so I'd rather be contributor than
maintainer"

So, since Felix is not running a .deb based distro and he prefers to be a
contributor(developer) it would be nice to have someone interested in this
task. As you have said, Felix has already done a great job but I need
someone to finish/maintain the package.

I really don't have time for this :(, I am practically the only developer
of the project, the only one giving support to the users, I maintain the
Windows and MacOSX packages/installers, and I also manage the web site and
users' forum.
