Hi! Sorry about the long list of references, and CCs. I would have loved to keep both shorter.
I am a Debian Maintainer, working on a single package, "rkward"[1]. As my former sponsor appears to be MIA, I have previously posted to debian- mentors[2,3], asking for help adjusting my upload permissions to the new management interface[4] (for details on what I need a DD to do, refer to [2]). So far the only result has been a new bug report against my package, and some controversy around how to handle this[5,3]. In case you are interested in the subject matter of the controversy, be sure to read the thread on debian- policy[6]. If you are wondering about the status of the issue: It's waiting for approval to upload a fixed version to tpu[7]. Well, the end of the DMUA-field is getting real close, now (Nov. 24), and so I think you will understand that I am getting a tiny little bit impatient. This time around I'm CCing a few DDs who have expressed sympathy with DM's in my situation, when discussing the change to DM's upload permissions on debian- devel, back in September. Please help me! Thanks!
