Package: sponsorship-requests
  Severity: wishlist

  Dear mentors,

  I am looking for a sponsor for my package "boogiewoogie"

 * Package name    : boogiewoogie
   Version         : 0.9-1
   Upstream Author : Joerg Richter <deb...@fuyosoft.com>
 * URL             : http://mentors.debian.net/package/boogiewoogie
 * License         : GPL
   Section         : graphics

  It builds those binary packages:

    boogiewoogie - Reads and stores graphics from iMPROV's Boogie Board

  To access further information about this package, please visit the following
URL:

  http://mentors.debian.net/package/boogiewoogie

  Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

    dget -x
http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/b/boogiewoogie/boogiewoogie_0.9-1.dsc

  The Boogie Boards from iMPROV Electronics are something like an electronic
writing pad. They
  mainly consist of a special LCD display that is pressure sensitive so that
you can "write"
  on the display as you would on a piece of paper.

  The Boogie Board rip has in addition a USB port where the pen strokes are
sent via a proprietary
  HID report to the connected computer. So far there is only a Windows program
to read the input
  from the board. Therefore I decided to write a program for the Linux world
that saves the pen
  strokes either in SVG or Jarnal format.

  I use this program already myself daily as I have my Boogie Board attached to
my Debian (headless)
  server and can write down a note and save it on the server whenever something
comes to my mind.

  You can see what these devices look like at http://www.improvelectronics.com
. Btw. I am neither
  a member of this company nor do I get paid by them. But of course I contacted
them and got their
  approval to publish an Open Source Software containing their interface
definition.

  Regards,
   Joerg Richter
