dget uses dscverify to check the signature. dscverify only uses the debian-keyring.gpg and debian-maintainers.gpg keyrings located in /usr/share/keyrings by default, so it will not see any keys you imported unless you tell it to use a different keyring (eg. the one in your ~/.gnupg).
