Hi,

/usr/share/doc/autotools-dev/README.Debian.gz says that the best
practice for handling files generated by Autoconf, Automake, and
Libtool is to generate these files during the build process and make
the clean target remove them.

/usr/share/doc/cdbs/cdbs-doc.html provides a facility for generating
these files during the build process, but it says that use of this
facility is *strongly* discouraged.

What is the best practice for a package that uses CDBS?
