Hmm... yeah, my 712/60 has about that much available space on its 1G SCSI drive, but only a 60MHz CPU and 32MiB of RAM. I compile small utilities and applications on it in a matter of 5-10 minutes which take all of a few seconds on my faster systems. Chances are this would take hours if it even completed at all. It's not quite as slow as my Mac Quadra, but it's pretty close. As I said, the HPPA porters probably have access to suitable hardware for replicating this problem (but I definitely don't). -- { IRL(Jeremy_Stanley); PGP(97AE496FC02DEC9FC353B2E748F9961143495829); SMTP(fu...@yuggoth.org); IRC(fu...@irc.yuggoth.org#ccl); ICQ(114362511); AIM(dreadazathoth); YAHOO(crawlingchaoslabs); FINGER(fu...@yuggoth.org); MUD(kin...@katarsis.mudpy.org:6669); WWW(http://fungi.yuggoth.org/); } -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-mentors-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
