Hi, how does this compares to, let's say, scim-pinyin, or the other pinyin modules that we can find currently in the archive? Is it better or at least as good as googlepinyin in Window? (I'm not talking about the one in Unix that I already packaged but that is buggy, and which I might give-up on). What other alternative do we have in the archive for typing in Chinese using ibus? (I only used SCIM so far) I might be interested in doing this sponsoring, as my wife is Chinese and uses Ubuntu, and that I often (have to) type in Chinese as well. Just one thing: I don't think it is a good idea to sponsor onlythe library without the ibus module. I strongly believe that these should be packaged and sponsored at the same time. In other words: I wont sponsor or even look at your package until you say that ibus-sunpinyin is ready as well. Note: I'm a new DD since last Sunday, so I'll have to learn on how to make my first sponsoring as well! :) Last thing: where do you live? I'm in Shanghai, even though I'm a French guy.
