Dear mentors, I am looking for a sponsor for the new version 1.1.dfsg.2-1 of my package "s5". It is a second DFSG repackaging of the upstream 1.1 source which replaces the iepngfix.htc file (currently under a "free if this notice is kept intact" license) with a later version from its author distributed under LGPL-2.1+ as suggested by Simon McVittie in #563709.
While I'm here, I refreshed the Debian packaging a lot; see the changelog entry below for details. There is a single binary package: s5 - A simple HTML-based presentation system The package is almost lintian-clean; there are two warnings. The first one is a pedantic warning about a missing upstream changelog, which unfortunately I cannot do much about - I've contemplated extracting a part of the HTML documentation, but it is not really enough for a proper changelog. Lintian also complains about a dfsg version containing a dot. This is also true, and it was a mistake I made back when I first repackaged it; however, I don't think there's much to be done about it right now, not until Eric Meyer decides to release s5-1.2. Of course, reversioning with an epoch (s5-1:1.1+dfsg.2-1) is always an option, but IMHO not really needed in this case.
