I had added an "rm" in the clean section of debian/rules in order to
remove the remaining files (including config.status.lineno):

# remove config.{guess,sub} and remaining files
rm -f config.guess config.sub kallery.lsm config.status.lineno
----------8<---------------------8<----------
I am unable to reproduce this here. I would have been glad to fix it though.
