Hmm, incorporating a diff for a bumped epoch? What does "incorporating" mean, dato's changes are already in the .diff.gz? > What is your proposal? Complete the long-lasting libmpcdec6 transition. All packages have patches, except: xine-lib-1.2 -- only in experimental, so not a blocker k3b -- the patch is against the KDE4 port in experimental; if the k3b maintainers are not keen uploading it to unstable in the near future, I'm happy to rework it against the old k3b. So, test the patches, ping the maintainers and co-ordinate with Sebastian Dröge + release team. That's my proposal. > Not to adopt the package and have QA handling the RC bugs (if any) > in a rush? It is better to concentrate the energy on getting rid of the dead horse. Of course, I can't tell you (or your sponsors) what to do. > I'm aware of the transition and, as you can see from the bug itself, > the upload *does* fix the bug by incorporating the NMU from Adeodato I'm puzzled... What does it fix, precisely? It closes an informative bug, which was filed according to best practices. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-mentors-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
