Sounds pretty cool! Once it's working and tested a bit more, feel free to run it past the buildd-tools-devel list if you want it integrated into sbuild proper. One thing I've been thinking about, and people have requested, is the ability to run checks after a successful build. Having a hookable mechanism to run lintian, piuparts etc. would be great.
