I need to add to daringness (Since LD_LIBRARY_PATH needs to be added to as well at make time): DEB_MAKE_INVOKE := . opt/foo/bar.sh ; $(DEB_MAKE_INVOKE) then it seems to work, although it makes me shudder quite a bit. But thanks a lot for the hint! Cheers Carsten
