I'm thinking of adopting Valknut.  As part of that, I imagine I'll put git (or 
some other DVCS) to work.  I'll need to easily track upstream (a SVN repo) 
and then have branches for stable fixes, unstable releases, and experimental 
SVN snapshots... well... eventually.

I'm soliciting suggestions as to what DVCS to use, and what Debian-specific 
tools I might want to familiarize myself with when using that VCS.  On top of 
all that I wouldn't mind some suggestions of workflows that have worked well 
for other maintainers using a DVCS.  URLs appreciated.  RTFM accepted, but 
please let me know where the manual is at.
