Would you mind joining the pkg-fonts project on Alioth, the mailing list and include your package in the SVN there? Having all font packages being team-maintained i snot mandatory, far from that...but this is encouraged and even if the team is fairly loose, having such (often simple) packages team-maintained will help in long term...
