I stopped caring about linda problems a long time ago (uninstalled it). Given that ftp-master have also now stopped caring about linda "errors" (and omissions), IMHO if a package is lintian clean, any linda errors are irrelevant. Equally, whether a package is "linda clean" is of no consequence if lintian has cause for complaint. I've recently removed some linda overrides from my packages and I don't plan to use linda in any sponsoring. I wouldn't recommend that anyone seeking sponsorship wastes any time "solving" linda errors as it has, in my experience, been wildly inaccurate. There are quite enough things to fix in packaging without chasing "linda ghosts". -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.data-freedom.org/ http://www.nosoftwarepatents.com/ http://www.linux.codehelp.co.uk/
