A quick review of the diff: Move the homepage to a proper field (current lintian picks this up when using -I):

Might want to consider rewriting the debian/copyright file according to: http://wiki.debian.org/Proposals/CopyrightFormat Since the diff looked pretty good, I built the package, some comments: gcc throws a few warnings, might want to get upstream to fix those. The README file doesn't add anything to the package (package description & copyright files cover it).
