Hello, currently I try to write some patches for programs in Debian and I have the need to find an availlable locale and ask here if such function already exist (I do not like to reinvent the wheel).
E.g.: We have "/usr/share/locale" and "/usr/share/man" which CAN contain languages like "de" or "de_DE". If the user has "de_DE.UTF-8" or "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" or "de_DE" I have the need to find the right match... de_DE => de => C Must I code this pig myself or is there already a function? Thanks, Greetings and nice Day Michelle Konzack Systemadministrator Tamay Dogan Network Debian GNU/Linux Consultant -- Linux-User #280138 with the Linux Counter, http://counter.li.org/ ##################### Debian GNU/Linux Consultant ##################### Michelle Konzack Apt. 917 ICQ #328449886 50, rue de Soultz MSN LinuxMichi 0033/6/61925193 67100 Strasbourg/France IRC #Debian (irc.icq.com)
