I'm apparently not being clear enough.

The bug in this case would be assigned to A,B.

The versions in which the bug is "found" are B/1.2-3 or similar.
Because no version of A is listed, as soon as the bug is -done it will
be fixed as far as A is concerned, but present in appropriate versions
of B.

Found is refering to versions in which the bug is found, not the
package to which a bug is assigned.
