Have you seen http://www.debian.org/devel/join/newmaint ? An advocate needs to be someone who's already worked with you in a Debian capacity eg by sponsoring packages of yours. Therefore asking on this mailing list isn't appropriate; you should contact a suitable individual instead if you have one. If not you probably want to look at having some packages sponsored by someone - you can post links to packages you've made to this list and hopefully someone will pick them up and look at sponsoring them.
