I've taken another look and it already looks a lot better without all the clutter :) It builds fine. Here's some more comments: The copyright/licence statement is not entirely consistent: - The about box says 2004-2006 and GPLv2 only - The source says 2003-2005 and GPLv2 or later - debian/copyright says the same as the source I think the About box is just incorrect and I don't see it as a showstopper, but it's best to take this up with the author. The menu items Help -> LaTeX reference and Help -> User Manual do not work (file not found resp. just a no-op). Am I perhaps missing some package(s)? In that case better recommend or suggest them. Minor thing, the description in debian/control contains "Web page: ..." but the convention is "Homepage: ..." For the rest, good work. Unfortunately I can't upload your package but hopefully someone else will, it looks good. Thijs
