It's not a good idea to call the "base" in my opinion even though I currenly can't come up with a better name. But at first glance, it makes it look as if it belongs to base-passwd, base-config and base-files, which are all very basic packages installed on every Debian system. And if you are looking for a sponsor (I can't sponsor you anyway), you should start a thread in the debian-mentors list clearly marked with "RFS" in the subject. Also you should file an ITP bug against the wnpp pseudo package at bugs.debian.org and close it in your changelog. It doesn't seem to me like you did that yet. cu, sven
