Package: spampd Architecture: all Depends: perl (>=5.6.1), spamassassin (>= 3), libnet-server-perl Description: a spamassassin based SMTP/LMTP proxy daemon. The major advantage above using SpamAssassin (both plain and spamc/spamd based) is that it doesn't need to load all needed perl modules nor does it need to load a C program on each mail reception. Compared to the spamc/spamd pair, a 25% performance gain isn't unusual with local tests.
