hi everyone, i maintain trickle which links against libevent. now libevent has changed its soname so my old binary packages depend on libevent0 which is no longer available as it is replaced with libevent1. i checked and i have to change absolutely zero, but just recompile to make it fork fine again. i guess this happens all the time, but what should i do?
- bump the version number a bit and add a respective changelog entry, then re-upload - or ask (where?) to rebuild the source that is already in the archive ? cu robert -- Robert Lemmen http://www.semistable.com
