So i don't think signing a scanned passport is a good way here. The passport should - if possible - be checked "in real life". So please invest this few time into getting good signatures onto your key. Just take your fingerprint with you when you come to munich and tell us in advance - there are quite some developers here at the universities, it won't be hard to meet some of them.
