Mine took more than 6 months. In my case, though AM recommended to the DAM the application was not complete in some aspects. This was not reflected in my status page, I finally asked what was going on and Martin at the front desk helped me complete the missing stuff. After that my account got created within a month. I think the DAM processes a set of applications in a bunch, if your application was skipped in that round, it probably means there is something wrong with your application (for eg. not agreeing to Debian Machine Usage Policy etc).
