I have ITP'd dict-gcide (Bug#100892). This package will provide, conflict and replace dict-web1913. I intend to provide an empty (dummy) dict-web1913 package that will depend on dict-gcide.
The only thing functionally required in the dummy package is a control file, and possibly a README.Debian file advising the user that he may purge this package at any time. In order to be allowed in the archive, will it be necessary to provide a copyright file? If everything in the package is part of the ../debian directory what should I do about a .orig.tar.gz file? Would it be acceptable to make this version of dict-web1913 a debian-native package, and include the ../debian directory in the .tar.gz file? Bob -- _ |_) _ |_ Robert D.
