hi all i have a problem with bug #78232 which i don't figure out how to solve.
it is the assle of the -rpath parameter. lintian is reporting this warning against my curl binary package and i'm not understanding how to make it shut up. lintian doesn't provide any information regarding this warning. times ago, when -rpath was an issue, lintian had an explanation and a link for a workaround, now it hasn't. in the lintian changelog is written that libtool doesn't force the use of -rpath switch any more, but i still get it. i was told to run libtool -f in my source tree but it didn't solved anything. let me know if i can close this bug as is or i need to do something more. if this is not a matter any more shouldn't lintian be upgraded in order to not raising this warning any more? thanks -----[ Domenico Andreoli, aka cavok --[ http://filibusta.crema.unimi.it/~cavok/gpgkey.asc ---[ 3A0F 2F80 F79C 678A 8936 4FEE 0677 9033 A20E BC50
