I see this applies to non-free packages. Since autobuilders don't bother with non-free packages AFAICT, they will almost never get out of unstable. This is probably the case for contrib packages too. If that's the case, those that wanted the elimination of non-free get their wish with a vote! ;-) The solution would be for autobuilders to process contrib and non-free packages. Peter
