mmh, I rather regard that workaround to be a kludge, but I think since I cannot get any upstream (upstream isn't working at bellcore anymore as it seems and hence he gave up working on it, since bellcore "owns" the code) I will have to do it this way. So I will take some list code of my own that is GPL'ed and add it to metamail so that it keeps track of the created files in order to release them at program termination. -- kind regards, Michael Moerz
