Hi I'm working on a piece of software that build 3-4 packages (at least) :
----ONLY POLICY questions below --------- a bin one, i plan to make 2 packages, one with X support, the other one without. What should be their name ? ...-x ? and the libs ones ... policy say libs should be linuxthread compliant, but according to the author, it could be risky. what should i do ?, build everything in a single package ?, and put the lib in somthing like "usr/share/<package>/lib" ? Subsidariy question: The thing is somehow "X11 for Text mode". the author has named his lib libTw (uppercase T) , it conflicts with the policy, but libX11 got an exeption .. so why libTw, that is some kind of X system for Text mode, should not get an uppercase letter ? (What a pretention :))) in fact, renaming the lib will be quite a pain since it's has been used in this form for a long time. Thanks for any help, jean marc Bourdaret <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> the Beast is TWIN : Text WINdow manager. Mix X11 with VNC, put it in a console, and you will get an idea. ______________________________________________________________________________ message envoye depuis http://www.ifrance.com emails (pop)-sites persos (espace illimite)-agenda-favoris (bookmarks)-forums Ecoutez ce message par tel ! : 08 92 68 92 15 (france uniquement)
